Asia Miles is Cathay Pacific’s mileage program, run out of Hong Kong. On 7 October 2026 the old asiamiles.com “about us” address redirected to an earn page on cathaypacific.com. The offers below were live there that day, each with an end date.
Rewarding Journeys, to 31 October
Rewarding Journeys is part of Cathay’s 80th anniversary. It is a checklist of 12 goals completed with Cathay and its partners, and registration is through the Asia Miles by Cathay app. The offer ends 31 October 2026.
- Completing 11 goals earns “up to bonus 15,730” miles across goals and milestone rewards, according to the page.
- Completing all 12 upgrades the reward to “a complimentary return flight in Economy from Hong Kong to any destination in the Cathay Pacific network”, subject to terms.
- Smaller rewards come earlier. Registering in the app and turning on push notifications earns a bonus 50 miles. Milestone rewards start from 80 miles once you have completed two or more goals.
The earn page does not list the 12 goals, and it only links to the terms for the flight reward. Read the goal list in the app before you start. A reward that needs all twelve is easy to miss by one.
Double miles at beauty and wellness partners, 15 October to 30 November
Happy Glow-Up Season runs from 15 October to 30 November 2026 in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China. Cathay members show their membership card to get the offers. The campaign page promises double miles at selected participating partners, plus partner discounts and gifts.
Most partners with a single address are in Tokyo, and several chains are listed at various locations. Examples:
- Forena Clinic in Hongdae: 2× miles.
- LOTTE DUTY FREE GINZA: up to 30% off selected DASSAI and CLARINS products.
- Sun Frontier Hotels: 10% off its hot spring and resort hotels in Japan.
- Cathay Shop: 20% fewer miles on selected health and beauty products.
The offers differ, so check each partner’s own line on the campaign page.
Card Linked Earn
You can link up to five Mastercard or Visa cards to your Cathay membership and earn miles automatically when you pay a participating partner with one of them. The Card Linked Earn page lists holiday, shopping and many dining partners, mostly in Hong Kong.
Limits in the small print:
- The service covers cards issued in Australia, Canada, the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States.
- Cards issued in Japan do not earn at Japanese merchants.
- Since 1 July 2026, eftpos cards are no longer supported and were delinked automatically.
Holders of the Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard are pitched “Pay Once, Earn Twice”: miles from the partner, and miles again from the card.
Package offers that earn miles
The page also lists travel packages that earn miles, each with its own end date. They are priced in Hong Kong dollars from Hong Kong, so they suit readers who start there.
- A Singapore “Flight + Disney Adventure” cruise package earns up to HKD4 = 1 mile and runs to 31 December 2026.
- An Anantara Ubud Bali Resort package with 20% off a stay of five nights or more runs to 31 March 2027.
What the page does not say
The earn page still states no basic earn rate for flying with Cathay Pacific and no redemption chart showing how many miles an award seat costs. It points to an Asia Miles calculator instead, which gives a figure for one route at a time.
