Most of Gardens by the Bay in Marina Bay is a free public park, open from early morning until 2am. The parts you pay for are indoors or up high: the two cooled conservatories, the OCBC Skyway walkway between the Supertrees, the Supertree Observatory and Floral Fantasy.
Every price below is in Singapore dollars including GST, read from Gardens by the Bay’s own attraction pages, ticket portal and promotions on 1 October 2026, and from Pelago the same day.
What is free
The outdoor gardens are open “Daily: 5.00am” to 2am, and the official list of them is “Serene Garden, Supertree Grove, Sun Pavillion, Heritage Gardens, World of Plants, Dragonfly & Kingfisher Lakes”.
Supertree Grove itself is “Free admission”, and so is Garden Rhapsody, the light and sound show in the grove, which runs “Daily, 7.45pm & 8.45pm”. The same page adds: “Admission charges to Supertree Grove may apply for ticketed events such as Christmas Wonderland.” The Far East Organization Children’s Garden is also free, open Thursday to Sunday and public holidays, 9am to 7pm.

What costs money
| Attraction | Non-resident adult | Non-resident child, 3 to 12 |
|---|---|---|
| Flower Dome and Cloud Forest | 46 | 32 |
| Disney Garden of Wonder at Floral Fantasy | 24 | 16 |
| OCBC Skyway | 14 | 10 |
| Supertree Observatory | 14 | 10 |
Visitors cannot buy just one dome. The single Flower Dome and single Cloud Forest tickets are listed at resident prices only (SGD 12 and SGD 26 for a resident adult). The official pages offered a non-resident only the two together.
Resident rates are not for tourists. They are real discounts, for example SGD 34 instead of 46 for both domes. “Singapore Resident rates apply to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, as well as those living in Singapore, including Employment Pass, Work Permit and Dependent Pass holders.” And “Proof of residency may be required at the point of ticket purchase and / or admission.”
The bundle is the one discount a visitor gets. Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Floral Fantasy and the shuttle together are SGD 58 for a non-resident adult and SGD 41 for a child, against SGD 73 and SGD 51 before the discount, with the promotion running until 14 March 2027. For the domes and Floral Fantasy, that saves SGD 12 against buying the two tickets separately at 46 plus 24.
The rules on an official ticket
- One day only. The ticket portal’s terms: “Visit to the attraction(s) must be completed on the selected day of visit. Re-entry is not allowed.” Tickets go on sale 30 days ahead.
- No refunds. “Admission ticket sold is non-transferable, non-refundable and void if altered.” If your plans change, the FAQ’s only promise is to “contact us for further assistance.”
- A time limit on each attraction, to manage crowds: “visitors are allowed up to 1 hour in each conservatory”, “only 15 mins on OCBC Skyway” and “up to 45 mins in Supertree Observatory.”
- Rain can move you. “Admission to OCBC Skyway is subject to weather conditions such as rain or lightning risks. For affected visits, visitors will be ushered to our latest attraction – Supertree Observatory.”
Hours and closure days
The domes, the Skyway and the Observatory open from 9am to 9pm. Last admission is 8.30pm for Flower Dome, the Skyway and the Observatory, and 8pm for Cloud Forest. Floral Fantasy opens 10am to 9pm.
Each attraction closes for maintenance about once a month. The next dates were:
- Flower Dome: 6 October and 16 November
- Floral Fantasy: 13 October, 3 November and 1 December
- OCBC Skyway: 14 October, 4 November and 9 December
- Supertree Observatory: 15 October, 5 November and 10 December
- Cloud Forest: 26 October and 17 November
Only one dome closes at a time, and on those days a single-conservatory ticket is sold instead.
What is on now: Cloud Forest carries Jurassic World: The Experience, Floral Fantasy carries the Disney Garden of Wonder until 14 March 2027, and from 9 October to 9 November the Flower Dome display is Sunflower Surprise, which is included in Flower Dome admission.
Official site or Pelago
Pelago, Singapore Airlines’ experiences platform, sells the same tickets at the same price for the main ones. With the currency set to Singapore dollars, its starting prices were SGD 46 for Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, SGD 58 for the bundle with shuttle and SGD 24 for Floral Fantasy, identical to the official non-resident adult prices.
The difference is the date. Pelago’s page says “Gardens by the Bay tickets are open-dated, which means you can visit on any day within the validity period shown on the voucher.” The official ticket is for the day you chose. If you are in Singapore for a few days and want to keep the domes for whichever afternoon it rains, open dates cost nothing extra. Pelago also listed a morning Supertree Observatory ticket for entry between 9am and noon at SGD 12, against the official SGD 14.
Neither seller refunds. Pelago’s terms: “No cancellation and non-refundable: All tickets and combo products mentioned are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable once booked.” It adds a rule that applies on the closure days above: “No refunds or exchanges will be provided if you visit on a day when one or more attractions in your ticket are closed for maintenance or special events.” Check the closure list before you go, whichever ticket you hold.
If open dates suit you, the current options are on Pelago’s Gardens by the Bay page. Singapore residents should buy direct, because resident prices are only on the official site and at the Gardens’ own counters.
Seeing more than one attraction? The Pelago Pass break-even sums show when a multi-attraction pass costs less than single tickets. Singapore’s hotel tax and service charge explains the bill for where you stay.
We have an affiliate arrangement with Pelago and earn a commission if you book through our link. For a visitor buying the main tickets, Pelago and the official site cost the same.
