Singapore Airlines’ program page covers KrisFlyer and PPS Club together, but almost everything that survived verification on that page is about KrisFlyer. What follows reflects that, and says plainly where PPS Club and elite-tier detail should be but isn’t.
Joining costs nothing
KrisFlyer is free to join, and the airline’s own pitch is to “earn easier, redeem faster, and travel better by signing up for free today.” Miles start accruing on Singapore Airlines flights immediately, and the airline pitches it as a chance to “enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi every time you fly with Singapore Airlines”.
Scoot flights earn miles too, and they can offset more than the fare
Flying Scoot, Singapore Airlines’ budget affiliate, also earns KrisFlyer miles, and those miles can be used “to offset the cost of flights, seat selections, or additional baggage allowance.” That’s a wider use than simply booking a reward ticket.
KrisPay: a separate currency that feeds into KrisFlyer
KrisPay is a distinct points currency, earned at “up to 6 KrisPay miles for every SGD 1 spent”* with partners across Singapore. It converts into KrisFlyer miles at a 1:1 rate, but only “within 21 days of the earn transaction.” Miss that window, and the source doesn’t say what happens to the KrisPay balance.
Two promotions with a real deadline
From 1 July to 30 September 2026, KrisFlyer members can “enjoy SGD 20 off (min. spend SGD 50) when you book attractions, tours, and transport worldwide on Pelago”. Separately, from 4 August to 30 September 2026, they can “earn 2 KrisFlyer miles for every SGD 6 spent (excluding taxes and fees) on eligible Singapore Airlines or Scoot flight bookings made via Expedia’s dedicated page”. What this page doesn’t say: elite tiers, and PPS Club entirely
The one sentence covering elite status is a single line: “KrisFlyer Elite tier members also enjoy a host of benefits on the ground and in the air.” It names no tiers, no mileage or flight thresholds to reach them, and no specific benefit. And despite the page being titled around PPS Club as well as KrisFlyer, nothing about PPS Club, what it requires, or what it grants survived our verification. We’re not going to guess at either.
